Chapter 12 Computer Software Related Inventions, Part II: Substantive Examination for Invention Patents of the Patent Examination Guidelines was implemented on July 1, 2021. TIPO has subsequently released a translated version in English to help the global IP community better understand and utilize patent examination guidelines for, as well as enhance services regarding, computer software related inventions in Taiwan.
